What it is
Postman began as a request client and became a full API lifecycle platform — design, documentation, mock servers, monitors, contract tests and a collection runner. Tests are written in JavaScript against a Chai-like API, and the Newman CLI executes collections in CI. Its ubiquity means most APIs you integrate with already publish a Postman collection.
