What it is
Better Stack combines fast uptime checks (down to 30-second intervals), on-call scheduling and escalation, hosted status pages and log management, with a design-led interface and pricing well below the enterprise incumbents. It is a common replacement for a Pingdom-plus-PagerDuty-plus-Statuspage stack.
Best for
Where it is strong
- Replaces three separate subscriptions with one at a lower total cost.

Where it falls short
- Browser-based transaction monitoring is limited compared to Checkly or Datadog.
- Log management is capable but not a full observability platform.
