PaidWhat drives the bill
The metric that actually scales your invoice.
Automated testing is priced by parallel virtual and real-device sessions; enterprise agreements are annual.
Automate plans are priced per parallel session and are the real cost — expect roughly $150-$250 per parallel session per month at small scale.

Strengths
- Strong enterprise security and compliance story, including private device pools.
- Test analytics genuinely help identify systemic flakiness rather than individual failures.
- Long track record and stable platform.
- The broadest device and browser matrix available, including older versions and new devices quickly.
- Works with essentially every automation framework, so migration is low-risk.
- Manual live testing on real devices is excellent for reproducing customer reports.
Limitations
- Generally the most expensive of the major device clouds.
- Device matrix is slightly narrower than BrowserStack's.
- The UI shows its age in places.
- Parallel-session pricing gets expensive fast, and idle capacity is still billed.
- Remote sessions are slower than local execution, lengthening feedback loops.
- The product surface has sprawled; you will be sold several adjacent modules.
Best for
Enterprises with security requirements and a need for cross-build test analytics.
Teams needing a wide real-device matrix without maintaining a lab.
All of these integrate with: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Jenkins, Jira.
